This is such a great healthcare service for women! Who doesn't love a house call for their healthcare?! Not having to drag your babies and toddlers out to a GYN appointment is the best thing since the wheel!

I've known Heather for many years, so when I found out she started her own women's health care business, I was absolutely thrilled. Heather has answered many questions for me over the years and has treated me with the utmost compassion and care. She does an incredible job at "keeping it real" when she's answering my questions and truly cares about helping women. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone seeking women's health care answers and services!

Throughout our entire time working with Gail, we knew were in good hands! We are grateful that God provided us the opportunity to work with her and her team. Having a home birth may be an uncertain experience; however, with Gail's help the entire process was a beautiful miracle. Gail provided valuable advice throughout the entire process--We were particularly impressed and grateful for her intuition and skill as we started the laboring process. It was important to trust her--and when we did, we found every direction (e.g., move this way, go in this position) to be exactly what was needed to facilitate a smooth delivery. The trust was reciprocal; She respected our decisions which we appreciated. Though we will not be in the area for very much longer, if we were to remain, we would welcome the opportunity to work again with Wise Women Health Care. We highly recommend the team.

Heather is so kind and truly cares about what she does. My daughter has seen many different kind of doctors over time and usually isn’t fond of most. After just one visit with Heather she couldn’t stop smiling and telling me how much she truly listened to her and she was the first person who didn’t make her feel like she was “to much.” It made me feel so good to know someone out there actually cared for her needs, listened and truly answered any questions or concerns she has. 5 stars isn’t even enough! Of course there is a whole other level of greatness with a home visit as well. I never had to interrupt my day by leaving my home and traveling to an appointment, waiting in a waiting room, waiting again in the appointment room and then having to travel again back home. When she set our appointment up at a certain time, she was there! I wish all appointments could be so great!

I, so very luckily, know Heather through a mutual friend. I am a first time mom, with a 5 month old daughter. I began having symptoms of postpartum depression & anxiety, about 2 months after her birth. I was talking to our mutual friend and she said I should talk to Heather, whom I had met previously during social activities, so I knew she was an awesome woman with the best sense of humor! Wow! Heather called me during my lowest point during postpartum and from that conversation, my life as a mom literally changed! I was so embarrassed and felt guilty about the feelings I was having, that one conversation with Heather changed it all! She supported me and helped me figure out the things I needed to do to feel like me again, while at the same time, encouraging me, that it was 100% ok to feel all my feelings. Whether it be midwifery, breastfeeding, postpartum, or just an awesome woman to talk to... Heather is where its at! PS my only regret is not having her deliver my baby!

I am so grateful for Gail and Lena! I started seeing Gail about a year and a half before our home birth of our first born. She cared for us through a season of pregnancy loss before becoming pregnant and delivering last year. Her care was unmatched to anything else I’d experienced. Gail is knowledgeable and confident, but also humble and attentive. We trusted that she truly cared about us and our baby. Our prenatal care with her was superb, personalized, and professional. During the birth, Gail’s expertise and experienced really showed through. I felt safe and secure throughout the whole experience because of the care that she provided. The birth was beautiful, peaceful, and redemptive. The postpartum care I received with Gail and Lena was so much more involved and sincere than I ever could have asked for. From lactation questions to emotional check-ins to making sure I was sleeping okay- I always felt like I had someone i could count on. I can't recommend Wise Women Healthcare enough. Gail and Lena are doing beautiful work. If you are considering choosing them as your care providers for your pregnancy and/or birth, you will feel safe, empowered, and well taken care of.
